Week 1: 16/2 – 22/02:

• Introduction to the BIP:
  • Learning goals 
  • Overview of the program 
  • Introducing the teachers 
• Assignment:
  • Introduce yourself to the group (ice-breaking)
  • How do we work together in the virtual phase? 

Week 2: 2/3 – 08/3

• Theory: Formalism 1: Modelica:
  • Theory lecture on Modelica
  • A short tutorial on OpenModelica 
• Assignment: Develop the Modelica model of the crane system

Week 3: 9/3 – 15/3

• Theory: Calibration of Simulation Models
• Theory: Introduction to control
• Assignment: Calibrate and control of the crane system

Intensive Phase 16/3 – 20/3 (subject to change)

Thursday 19/3: Application and Project
